Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tiltandturnadvisor.com and any consulting services purchased through it (the "Services"). By booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the service
Tilt & Turn Advisor is an independent advisory operated as a sole proprietorship ("jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza") registered in Poland. We provide informational consulting on the European window market, technical specifications, supplier selection, and import logistics, primarily for clients in the United States.
2. What you're paying for
Each booking purchases a defined service:
- Full Consultation: A 60-minute live video call on Google Meet, including a pre-call questionnaire and one short follow-up email.
- Quote Review + Call: A written analysis of supplier quotes you submit, followed by a 60-minute live video call.
Services are delivered remotely. The client is responsible for stable internet access and a working device for video calls.
3. Independent advice — what that means
We hold no margin agreements, referral arrangements, commissions, or affiliate relationships with any window manufacturer, importer, distributor, or installation contractor. The fee you pay is our entire compensation.
Important: Advice is informational, not binding. The consultation provides professional opinion based on the information you supply and our industry experience. It is not a guarantee of any specific outcome, supplier performance, technical result, financial result, or installation success. Final purchasing, contracting, and installation decisions remain entirely yours. We are not a licensed engineer, architect, attorney, or financial advisor in any jurisdiction.
4. Payment
All payments are processed at the time of booking via Stripe. Prices listed on the site are in US dollars. Bookings are confirmed only after payment clears. Invoices are issued in compliance with Polish tax requirements; if you require a specific invoice format for your business, contact us before booking.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds
- Reschedule: Free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled call.
- Cancel: Up to 24 hours before the call — full refund.
- Inside 24 hours: We will reschedule once, but no refund is available since the time slot was held for you.
- No-show: If you do not join the call within 15 minutes of the scheduled start without prior notice, the booking is forfeit and not refundable.
Satisfaction commitment: If, after your consultation, you genuinely feel the call did not deliver value, email us within seven (7) days of the call and we will refund your fee. This is a one-time, good-faith refund and is not available for repeat bookings.
6. Quote Review specifics
For the Quote Review + Call service, you must submit the supplier quote(s) and any relevant project details (drawings, climate location, project timeline) at least four (4) business days before the scheduled call. If materials are not received in time, we will reschedule the call rather than rush an inadequate analysis.
7. Confidentiality
We treat all project documents, quotes, drawings, and personal details you share as strictly confidential. We do not share them with manufacturers, importers, or any third party. Information is used solely to prepare for and deliver your consultation. We are happy to sign a separate NDA on request.
You agree, in turn, not to publicly share or redistribute the written analysis, recordings, or other deliverables we produce for you, except for use within your own household, project team, or contractors directly involved in your build.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services is limited to the fees you paid for the specific consultation in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, project delays, supplier disputes, manufacturing defects, shipping damage, customs issues, installation errors, or any losses arising from your reliance on our advice. The advice we provide is professional opinion, not a warranty or guarantee.
9. No professional licensing claim
Nothing on this site or in our consultations constitutes legal, financial, engineering, architectural, or contractor advice as those professions are licensed in any US state or other jurisdiction. For decisions requiring such advice, consult a properly licensed professional in your area.
10. Intellectual property
All written analyses, recordings, and other deliverables produced for you are licensed for your personal and project-team use, but the underlying methodology, frameworks, and content remain our intellectual property. Site content, copy, and design are also our property and may not be reproduced without permission.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Poland, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Bookings already paid for are governed by the Terms in force at the time of payment.
